The import division
Three European marques, one house in Jersey City.
Glass from France. Cast iron from Denmark. Loudspeakers that hang like paintings. Dave found them at shows and factories over thirty years, and all three are set up and playing in our rooms. Nowhere else in America puts them side by side.
Speakers you can see straight through.
Hand-built glass cabinets from the south of France, finished in a tiny workshop and tuned to vanish visually and sonically. We have shown Waterfall at the New York Audio Show and keep them on demonstration in Jersey City.
- Glass cabinets, hand-finished in Carcès in the south of France
- Niagara, Victoria and Iguascu XT floorstanders, plus the compact Elora and Serio
- Shown by Audio Intellect at the New York Audio Show, and on demonstration in Jersey City
Glass loudspeakers
Cast iron. Poured, not pressed.
Each Jern cabinet is cast in a Danish foundry from graphite-laced iron, so there is almost nothing to resonate and the music simply appears in the room. Compact monitors with the clarity of speakers many times the size. Audio Intellect brings Jern to the United States.
- Cast in Aars, Denmark, by a foundry that has poured iron since 1975
- Graphite-laced grey iron with hexagonal internal domes, so the cabinet does not sing along
- Compact monitors with matching stands; Audio Intellect imports Jern to the United States
US importer
Hang the speakers like paintings.
Slim, high-output Danish speakers behind interchangeable printed screens: a photograph, a commissioned artwork or a plain color to match the wall. Serious enough for a Dolby Atmos cinema, discreet enough for a dining room.
- Danish, founded 1998, with speakers designed to hang like pictures
- Interchangeable printed screens: photography, commissioned art or a plain color
- Modular on-wall speakers for stereo and full Dolby Atmos cinemas
